Clash of Clans Town Hall 9 Best Attacking Strategies
The new attacking options give you a sundry of different attacking strategies at Town Hall 9 in Clash of Clans. Of course, all your old attacking strategies are available to you until TH8, which can be improved with the extra army camp space. There are also completely fresh compositions exclusive from Town Hall 9 onwards. Here are 5 of the best with recommended army compositions.
5. Mass Baby Dragons
While this is not a strategy that takes the most skill to use, it is surely effective and very much fun. Remember that Baby Dragons double their damage per second when they are far away from other flying troops. Hence, you want to space them out to use each as effectively as possible. Take out two air defences with your Lightning Spells, and let the baby dragons wreak havoc coupled with your heroes. Try bringing a dragon and baby dragon in your clan castle, with another Lightning Spell to fully take out two air defences.

- 22 Baby Dragons
- 9 Lightning Spells
4. GoValk
Valkyries have been one of the strongest troops in the game for a long time now. With some golems tanking for them, they can take out their best defences in an instant. Take out the centre base with 4 earthquakes. Release the Valkyries with some Golems tanking for them, and some Wizards to support. If the clan castle defence bothers you too much, try carrying Poison Spell.

- 2-5 Wall Breakers
- 5-10 Wizards
- 2 Golems
- 1 Rage Spell, 1 Poison Spell, 4 Earthquake Spells
3. GoWiWi
GoWiWI is a popular attack, especially in clan wars. It is a solid attack to steadily score two stars. That does not mean it won’t occasionally land you the three-piece as well. For this attack strategy, try bringing a Golem in your clan castle, preferably stronger than yours. Coupled with both heroes, it is a really consistent attack. It is more or less like a GoWiPe with bringing Witches instead of P.E.K.K.A. Like GoWiPe, you clear side buildings followed by dropping Golems to start tanking and breaching the wall with Wall Breakers. Now after clearing the side, your job is to funnel in your Witches and Wizards to take out the base from inside.

2. Lavaloon
Lavaloon is a great 3-star option if you are looking for one for your clan wars. With higher risk, of course, comes some higher reward. If you fail the three-star, there is a high chance of you not taking out the town hall either. This strategy uses some minions to take out miscellaneous buildings. This will ensure you get the three-star and not lose out on time. Carry another Lava Hound in your clan castle.

- 16 Balloons
- 25 Minions
- 3 Rage Spell, 1 Healing Spell, 1 Poison spell(Preferably)
1. GoWiPe
The GoWiPe combo is one of the most iconic attacks in Clash of Clans. It has stood the test of time since the beginning. This attack is the most consistent two-star option in your arsenal. This makes it a terrific option for clan wars. While it occasionally does get you three stars, go in with the mindset that this attack will get you an easy two-star. Carry a high-level P.E.K.K.A in your Clan Castle for extra domination along with a Wizard and an Archer to fill up the remaining space.

- 4 Wall Breakers

Queen Walk is another very popular attack strategy that players can use but this one doesn’t have a fixed set team comp.
