The story is good but the only app you can read it on is GoodNovel (which is really slow with lots of ads) and you have to pay to unlock each chapter after 20. Would rather pay for a full book.

The 1st internet novel I read. The story is still ongoing online. 2169 chap last I checked. The storyline is quite frustrating to me. Seems similar to those Taiwanese dramas with thousands of episodes and can talk about very minor issues for one whole-hour episode. The relationships are very frustrating. Not clear who is the main protagonist mid-story and don't understand why the original female protagonist make the decisions she did along the way. So I gave up reading.

If there is any similar, shorter, and not as frustrating book, please introduce it to me. Need to rid me of these memories of reading this.

Stumbled across this book online and wish I didn’t. The plot has potential but otherwise it’s a waste of time. Poorly written. Tried to place the setting in Atlanta but clearly is in a foreign country. Grammatical errors. No editing. Feels as if the author has not done any research. Everything is 10 billion this and 5 billion that. Very superficial and no imagination. The characters are superficial and have no depth.

It's a shame that at the end we did not see Eric and Nicole together. They gave too much spotlight on Eric and Nicole at first so we assumed that they would get reconcile and remarry, Eric put too much sincerity and efforts on Nicole just to get back at her, sad to see that it did just go to waste. I'm so sad that they didn't end up together, I thought Nicole would give him a second chance as everyone does but instead, she marry Clayton. Clayton stole the show, and I'm so damn heartbroken for Eric Ferguson. Such a waste of time.

Excessively stretched.
I know a few parts are too good
But others are like mess.

Didn't feel any maturity in characters.

NOT WORTH THE BUY! 1st I hate Goodnovel…this was the second and last book I will read there. It seems to be an app for poor writing and lackluster books. 2nd this book was so poorly written and had a terrible dialogue. I couldn’t even finish it and I normally finish every book even I don’t care for it much but I just couldn’t spend more for a book that was this terrible.

Did a middle schooler write this?

The dialog was just awful. I really hate to rag on authors, so I try to find some redeeming quality in their work. The only thing good I can say about this book is that the plot was interesting. It’s the only thing that kept me going for as long as I did. A brief synopsis: Nicole Stanton is from one of the wealthiest families in their city. She’s in love with Eric Ferguson (also from a very wealthy familt), but hides her true identity because she wants him to love her for herself. He agrees to marry her on the condition that she make herself available for a blood transfusion to a woman he has promised to take care of. A promise made to a dying friend. (again with the exaggeration that Nicole and only Nicole has something about her blood that can help this woman). He has no romantic feelings towards this woman, Wendy, but more of a sense of obligation to a friend. Nicole misinterprets his feelings for Wendy and has tried for 3 years to get him to fall in love with her. But she finally realizes he doesn’t love her and never will. Of course (you saw this coming didn’t you?), he doesn’t realize what he had until it was gone and now he’s trying to win her back.

As I stated earlier, the dialog was very juvenile and it seemed like it was written by someone that really likes exaggeration. . . Like trying to portray just how rich Nicole’s family was. Example . . .when the FMC couldn’t decide which Hermes scarf she wanted, she ordered one each from the current collection to the tune of $7 million dollars. Riiiiight. *eye roll* sure those scarves are expensive, but we’re talking in the $200-$500 range. Do you know how many scarves it would take to reach $7M? Clearly the author didn’t think about it. Or how everyone stopped everything when Nicole arrived on scene as if she were royalty. There were so many of these instances, it was seriously cringe just reading this.

I could go on and on and on, just like the book, but I think you can get my point. As if you can’t tell by now, no I don’t recommend this book at all.

I am going to say “finished” this book. I have read enough to have completed it. Let me just say I think this book and storyline has potential; it’s the first internet author book I’ve read. One that popped up on Facebook and I read the first 3 chapters getting sucked in. I found it and continued to read… and read and read. It’s never ending! It’s one of those books where a new chapter keeps getting released and the author can’t seem to to stop. I think this 1- should be a series of books. 2- the author needs help to write, the ideas are good but grammar is poor. 3- definitely needs to be proofread multiple times before being released to the public. Like I said, great idea and I think storyline but the writing is all over the place. Half the characters names are misspelled throughout, grammar is definitely an issue. I stuck with it as long as I could because I felt the potential was there and darn it, I wanted to see if she went back to him. It was like reading a bad soap opera, a lot of small daily issues between characters that build and build. I think with some direction from someone more seasoned this could be something. I hate to ever discourage someone from writing, it just needs some help and needs an ending.

I read the novel and you can find it free from other sites just do a yahoo search. This is a Chinese novel so despite the name changes and city name changes it is still rooted in Chinese culture. Also this is a web novel and chapters are written a few at a time. This is a popular Chinese genre and is getting more popular in US.

I have read a few of these types and this is one of my favorites. I think there is development of the characters. There are a lot of grammatical errors but that is because of translation. It is obvious the idea is to just update the novel daily.

Since I am reading a few of these types I look at them more like a soap opera instead of a book. I will do separate review of story.

Initially felt empowering that the female MC overcame stuff and was humble despite her wealth etc.. but as the story progressed, there was no character development and she just kept being rude to everyone because of her wealth. The Eric guy is giving serious stalker vibes, he was a dumbass, didn't appreciate his wife at first, then used his money to make scenarios have him close to the female MC. He's so manipulative and stupid. There doesn't seem any proper plot to this story, editing was done halfway and the book just keeps going on endlessly? Screw this. I need a short chick-lit with neatly wrapped ending to take my mind off this clusterwreck.

This is a never ending poorly translated book lol. I’ve read 454 chapters and I just need to stop. I’m sometimes really into the drama and when I see the ads on Facebook, it always makes me want to read it lol but at some point my head just hurt cuz I keep on rolling my eyes and it’s a rollercoaster of misunderstanding or there’s like nothing happening in the chapter… I’ll probably try to keep going one day but right now I’m just switching drama book lol.

Ridiculously long. Completely drawn out for absolutely no reason that I can figure out. Its currently at chapter 2527, if you can believe that. The mls are childish. In the beginning I was rooting for Nicole and sort of feeling sorry for Eric, because he's not mean just gullible, neglectful and very self-absorbed. Now, I don't really care about either of them or how their story will end... if ever.

Too many storylines going on at once. Couldn’t actually finish the book as it is an online book that never ends. I kept waiting for some exciting romance to happen, and then there would be another plot twist, and then another plot twist and then another plot twist to the point that I was annoyed. I think I made it to like chapter 500 or something.

Soooo long. Grammatical and spelling errors. I don’t know why I continued reading, but the beginning of the story intrigued me and I wanted to find out more. However, the story drags on and it seems never ending. Don’t waste your time on this one, people!

This has potential, the author needs to take it off "pay by chapter" get a good editor and release it as a 3 book series.. I gave up at chapter 171 after realising it had 2000+ chapters and was still going.

Waste of time. The plot HAD potential but it hasn't been realised. It's a disappointment.. at over 2000 chapters, the story is still not going anywhere.
