Svaladal World Events

World Events are short side quests. Interact with the character you find at the event marker to begin the quest. You will earn 1200 XP for each World Event you complete.

The Ballad of Kraka and Skavi

Climb up the largest peak in eastern Svaladal and you’ll find Skavi, the blacksmith of Jordeygr Shelter. Use the Power of the Raven and fly to the nearby Muspel Fortress. Kill off all the Muspels and then take the Ember of Muspelheim. Speak to the Jotun to learn Kraka’s fate. Fly back to Skavi and tell him what happened. Regardless of what you tell him, he will give you the ember and then return to Jordeygr Shelter. This completes the World Event. You'll be able to upgrade the Hugr-Rip by using embers at any dwarven blacksmith.

Love Conquers

You’ll find a Jotun woman named Vaskr sitting near some bushes about a hundred meters east of Jordeygr Shelter. Speak to her, and she’ll ask you to take her to the shelter. You’ll need to have already opened the back exit of the shelter to make this simpler. Take her to the shelter, and she’ll lead you to her beloved, a Dwarf named Svass. Once inside, a pack of wolves will try to enter the shelter. Help Vaskr kill all the wolves to complete the World Event.

A Beast’s Burden

You’ll find a Jotun Heavy Calvary riding a very large and menacing mechanical boar in the fields. The boar makes wide turns, so wait for him to pass you, and then shoot the Jotun with arrows. He’ll be able to deflect arrows from time to time. Use Ranged Abilities to do more damage and prevent him from blocking. Once he’s defeated, you’ll mount the boar, named Gullinbursti. This will complete the World Event. Gullinbursti will be added to your stable and becomes your assigned ride. You can learn more about this big beast at the Gullinbursti Smida.

A Most Cunning Fish

In the northeast region of Svaladal there are two arguing dwarves. Speak to them to learn about the fish who’s protecting the lake. Go to the water and use Odin’s Sight to find the biggest fish. Use your fishing line or shoot it with an arrow, and the fish will shapeshift into a Jotun. He will give you the key to a nearby Wealth chest. This completes the World Event and allows you to collect a Platinum Ingot.

Svaladal Dwarves in Distress

Each Dwarf in Distress mystery will have a Dwarf being threatened by enemies. Eliminate the enemies to save the Dwarf, then speak to the Dwarf to complete the mystery. Each Dwarf in Distress will reward you with 450 XP and a clue to the location of one of Suttungr's Outriders. Find each Dwarf afterward at one of the Dwarven Shelters to receive additional rewards.

Tait

Tait is located in the southern tip of Svaladal, southwest of Dimm Mylna.

Tait will be surrounded by Muspels that are using him for target practice. When freed he will provide a clue to the whereabouts of Suttungr's Outrider Ljethr. Find Tait at Jordeygr Shelter afterward and speak to him to get a reward.

Solvej

Solvej is located south of Tjarnar Mylna and east of Svaladal's central high point.

Solvej is being threatened by Muspel warriors when you arrive at her location. Eliminate the Muspels and she will tell you where to find Suttungr's Outrider Ljethr. Solvej will head to Jordeygr Shelter after being freed.

Kelby

Kelby is located north of Kara's Domain.

You will find Kelby nearly naked, standing on a frozen pond, being harassed by Jotuns. Once rescued he provides directions to Suttungr's Outrider Iaten. Speak to Kelby afterward at Jordeygr Shelter to get your reward.

Torborg

Torborg is in the western part of Svaladal, a short distance west of the Asgardian Gate.

You will find Torborg standing on a plank spanning a gorge, being harassed by Jotun warriors. She will offer a clue to the location of Suttungr's Outrider Iaten. Speak to Torborg later at Jordeygr Shelter to receive a reward.

Svaladal Mythical Memories

Mythical Memories are historical Dwarven blacksmith locations. Interact with the large anvil to initiate a cutscene containing Dwarven lore. When the cutscene concludes, the mystery is completed, and one Skill Point is received.

Gungnir Smida

Gungnir Smida is southeast of the Jordeygr Shelter. This is where Odin’s Spear, Gungnir, was created! You can actually get this spear in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla; check out our guide here!

Skidbladnir Smida

Skidbladnir Smida is located in the center of a lake that’s perpetually engulfed in a thunderstorm. Havi tells the tale of Skidbladnir, the ship that could fold down to pocket-size.

Mjolnir Smida

Mjolnir Smida is located in the mountains at the northern edge of the region. This is where Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir, was created! You can actually get this hammer in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla; check out our guide here!
